The Association of Central Australian Aboriginal Art & Craft Centres (DESART) recently recently profiled new artists from Balgo in its magazine. Both Miriam and Tossie Baadjo (Warlayirti Arts Center) were recognized for their nominations to the 2008 Telstra (Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art) Awards competition
