Frances Ann has depicted her father's country located far to the south of Balgo deep in the Great Sandy Desert. This country is centered around Nyumi and Jupiter Well. Depicted here are several features of the country including desert oak trees as the blue shapes, whtchetty grubs as the green shapes, the orange U shapes represent women collecting minyilli or bush pumpkin. The other shapes show the tali or sand dune country and the flat country surrounding Jupiter Well.

Frances Ann was born at Tjalyuwang, one of the remote mission sites which was established before the Catholic mission was finally established at Wirrimanu (Balgo). She is the eldest daughter of a senior Law man and recognized artist, Brandy Tjungurrayi. Frances paints acrylic on canvas and acrylic on linen. She has also been creating some extraordinary work in fired glass. The first glass workshops occurred in Balgo during the 2000-2001 period under the title of the Warlayirti Glass Workshop Program, facilitated by Tasmanian glass artist Pip White.
